Denise brings over fifteen years of leadership experience to Mission Accomplished Consulting LLC. Her experience in the "nonprofit world" ranges from front-line management to director-level positions in both operations and employee development. She has supervised exempt and non-exempt employees, and has a solid history of successfully facilitating diverse inter-disciplinary teams. This experience is complimented by her previous role on the Board of Directors for a civic organization whose mission was to address community development and quality of life issues on a micro and macro level. This history enables her to relate to the needs of her clients and their customers. It also provides her with an ability to provide practical and pragmatic solutions to their problems. She understand the importance of trust and confidentiality in building effective client relationships.
Denise understands the challenges and budget restraints her nonprofit and small businessclients have. Her and her husband have successfully run small businesses, including their most recent venture, Packard Cabinetry of Hendersonville. In addition to her experience in the private business sector, Denise has extensive experience working with agencies whose missions included addressing the needs of the homeless, substance abusers, and people with developmental disabilities and mental illness. She is confident that the mission can be accomplished despite budgetary restraints!
At Mission Accomplished Consulting, research-based information is integrated into strategic plans. Upon graduating from Cornell University in 1995 with a BS in Human Services and a concentration in Program Planning and Development, Denise developed a passion and talent for addressing human resource challenges in the workplace. This passion motivated her to pursue an MS in Organizational Management, with a concentration in Human Resource Management, from St. Joseph's College, in Patchogue, NY, in 2003.
Denise has a solid record of decreasing operation costs, facilitating cite-free audits from the New York State Office of Persons with Developmental Disabilities (Formerly OMRDD), increasing retention and employee performance, as well as decreasing litigation and the costs associated with it. She is a team player with a history of leveraging employee conflict by using it to influence positive changes.
